The third version of this painting was inspired by a week on the Isle of Iona, with an image of Dora from Uganda, Inderjit Bhogal, Methodist Minister from Sheffield and Maia, student from Glasgow. I painted this for Iona Abbey, where pilgrims come from all over the world. I wanted people of black and ethnic minorities to feel welcome.
Dora is now back in Uganda and fundraising for a Bed and Breakfast to offer hospitality which is inclusive. A donation will be sent to her from these print sales. For more details and to donate follow the link:
